Volunteers are absolutely critical to the work we do at Lighthouse International. The Lighthouse was founded in 1905 by volunteers Winifred and Edith Holt, who envisioned a brighter future for people without sight. More than 100 years later, we now have a family of over 2,500 volunteers who continue their legacy. And we have a wealth of volunteer opportunities that range from reading services to helping teens in our youth programs. Last year, Lighthouse volunteers contributed an unprecedented 46, 415 hours of service! Below is a general list of the volunteer opportunities we offer.
